Seasonal checklists

The liturgical year, as a shopping list.

What the sacristy needs before the First Sunday of Advent, with order-by dates and the categories to shop.

Candles, white vestments, the nativity and the gift shop for Christmas Eve through the Baptism of the Lord.

Ashes, violet vestments, palms, the Paschal candle and the Triduum supplies, with the order-by dates that matter.

White and gold vestments, the Paschal candle in use, baptisms and the fifty days to Pentecost.

What the parish, the catechists and the families need for a sacrament class: gifts by the dozen, certificates, pew signs and vestments.
